Storybook Submissions 

STORIES!  I LOVE STORIES!  My favorite part of teaching was reading stories, encouraging students to write stories, and collecting stories to see them in print to share.  At the first SEQ meeting, I volunteered to collect the Anita stories; what are your favorite stories of life in Anita? The History Book committee is collecting the stories of life from 2000 to 2025; what changes have happened in Anita since 2000?  Our Storybook will collect the BEST of our 150 years in Anita!  I'm looking for short narratives to string together as the whole story of Anita.  We need help collecting those stories!  I've heard about stories of gunfights on Main Street, local war efforts like watching the skies for planes overhead, a woman who let cows in the house, etc.  I've been told lots of stories, but there are so many that haven't been written down and sent to me for my Storybook (which will be a part of the History Book.)  Please email admin@anitawhaleofatown.org if you have a story to share!
